Our Story

Hi, 

My name is Chris Violaris and I am the owner of Opticians Forum. I am the guy on the right. You may have visited as before when it was called GPC Opticians. I took over the practice in 2019. I had great timing as shortly afterwards Covid arrived. This did not stop me from implementing some changes where our patients come first. These included longer appointments times, styling expertise and wonderful coffeee. The practice still looked a bit shabby and so a complete refit was undertaken and the name changed to opticians Forum to reflect our commitment to the local community in Stevenage.These changes resulted in many local, national and international awards as best opticians in Hertfordshire, United Kingdom and Global Opticians of the Year.

Lesley Quinn

Lesley is my senior dispensing manager and principal stylist. Lesley loves eyewear and especially styling our clients to look and feel great in glasses. Lesley  is married, has 2 sons and a cat – Sunny.

Mukesh Khetani

Mukesh is our senior optometrist. He has a wealth of experience and his super power is putting nervous patients at ease. 

Feona Farrell

Feona loves travelling and meeting people.
