Sarah’s Spectacle Story

Hello my name is Sarah and I have worn glasses since i was 10 years old. and I am now 28. I was seduced by those adverts everywhere but I just could not find any Glasses I Loved. They felt uncomfortable and they were not quite the look I wanted. That was when I decided that life was too short for ugly glasses. I really needed to a decent pair of eyewear. Especially now that I was back in the office or doing Zoom meetings. Glasses are the first thing people see and I need to look my best in glasses

I decided to visit GPC Opticians in Stevenage Town Centre. They had won Awards for  Best Opticians in Hertfordshire 2020 and even Best Global Opticians 2021.

I felt I had found the home of all the great eyewear designers, Versace, Longchamp, Ralph Lauren, Carolina Herrera , the list was endless. I felt I was walking on the streets of Milan, Paris and New York but in Stevenage Town Centre.

The best part was the way Lesley, the styling consultant, talked to me to find out exactly what I was looking for in glasses. It was like an effortless eyewear styling with an experience eyewear expert. This was the missing part of the jigsaw In the end I chose a Carolina Herrera, a Longchamp (as styled by Kendall Jenner) for a different look and some prescription sunglasses by Versace.

The glasses were soon ready. I loved the collection with all the authentic cases. The time was taken to adjust them properly on me. I could see everything, they felt comfortable and the looked fab. I was so happy.

The next day I went to work. I was wearing my new Carolina Herrera’s. Everyone was commenting how great they looked. Even James from accounts commented on them and asked for my number. It felt great to be noticed again.
